Fisher Nurse Laurie DiStasio RN, BSN provides comprehensive and caring health care to our students. She treats acute illnesses and injuries, follows state-mandated immunization laws, screens children for vision, hearing, growth, and development problems, and often goes into classrooms to guest lecture on a variety of health topics. Mrs. DiStasio believes in modeling a healthy lifestyle for the students. If a student is ill or hurt in some way, he/she won't be able to learn as well in school.
