Whether you are a new family to the school district, a returning family or a prospective one, we hope this site offers you valuable information about the mission of Fisher Elementary School.
Families are always welcome at Fisher. Whether it’s popping in to have lunch with your student or attending one of our numerous events throughout the year, we want you to be a part of your students’ efforts and achievement.
Located in the southwest corner of Vermont, Fisher offers a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5 education to 220 students who live in the communities of Arlington and Sandgate. Fisher Elementary School is part of the Battenkill Valley Supervisory Union which includes the Arlington and Sandgate school districts.
Curriculum and planning goals are shared at the K-3 and 4-5 levels with an overall mission of “creating an instructional process whereby all students are able to achieve their academic potential.”
As you browse through this website, you will see the Faculty Staff Directory page which offers direct email links to Fisher faculty and staff for easy email communication. Please call, email or stop in to set up a time to meet if you have any concerns or questions. Your student’s educational experience is as important to us as it is to you.
Fisher Elementary is a community school in the very best sense. Your student will not “get lost in the shuffle” here. We know our students, we care about their success and we want them to achieve and grow in a caring and supportive environment.
